Terri McMillan is an international maritime lawyer who advises maritime administrations, Port Authorities and private shipping interests on all aspects of shipping law.
Terri McMillan is an assistant Consultant with the International Maritime Organization. She specializes in international maritime law, with particular emphasis on law of the sea and the implementation of International Conventions. Her previous work has included maritime legislative drafting – an Act in Trinidad and Tobago to incorporate the Ballast Water Management Convention and advising on regulatory compliance to both public and private stakeholders. She is currently specializing in Arctic Transit and contributes to various journals.
Terri McMillan was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales in 2001 and later to the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2007. She is a registered practitioner in the UK and an Attorney at Law in Trinidad and Tobago.
Terri McMillan has lived in Trinidad and Tobago, Liverpool, London and Malta and has spent protracted periods in Ghana building relationships with oil and gas stakeholders. Most recently she was with the International Tribunal for Law of the Sea in Hamburg.
